Our Golden Jubilee

In 2015 Playschool is celebrated its Golden Jubilee as we had been established and operating for 50 years!

Walk 50 miles in our 50th year

To  mark the occasion of our Golden Jubilee we wanted to walk 50 miles in one term. To achieve this we asked parents and carers to note any walks they did with their children and we added these to a tally in playschool.  Then we would all walk the final mile together at Playschool along the Forest Way.

On Friday 19th June, with help from our parents and carers we had a great turn out to walk our final mile and help us beat our target as in the end we managed to walk 86 miles!

In Playschool during Golden Jubilee week, the children in session had the chance to try some new and interesting activities…

Monday 22nd June – Ceramics Day
