We are one of the few community playschools in the area to have its own premises. We are situated on the edge of Hartfield village and to the rear of the property we overlook beautiful countryside across fields to the River Medway.

Something of which we are most proud is our truly unique outdoor space which boasts: an undercover outdoor play area (the old railway platform) with a large wooden climbing frame; an assortment of play equipment, including cars, scooters and water table.

 

Thanks to a large lottery grant we were able to further develop our extensive garden area. We have a large permanent wooden fort in the garden, swings, monkey bars, a living willow structure, an underground tunnel set at the top of the hill, stepping stones, an area of grass for ball games, a covered sand pit within a large shaded, decked area and a vegetable and flower patch which the children help to maintain. We also have direct access onto The Forest Way from our garden which is used for nature walks in the better weather.
