"Hartfield Playschool is such a happy and nurturing setting. The SENCo has been fantastic at making referrals for my daughter’s speech and language needs and acted on my concerns quickly and efficiently to invite the local Toddler Talk service in to review her. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I know my daughter is happy and cared for. She comes out smiling every day - often showing me artwork she’s created or models she has made. ''Having had both my daughters attend Hartfield Playschool, I could not recommend it highly enough. It was a brilliant start for both of my girls, with great staff and a wonderful environment. The gardens and outside play areas are fantastic, it is lovely to see the children playing outside on sunny days in such a lovely spot. ''My youngest son leaves Hartfield Playschool for ‘big school’ at the end of this term and I am truly sad that our time at Playschool is coming to an end. As the mother of two boisterous ‘country’ boys the exceptional outside space was a particular attraction to me when I was selecting preschool education for my children and I am delighted that they have been encouraged to be outside in all seasons.  The staff work incredibly hard to create a happy, welcoming and stimulating environment for the children. They provide a great range of activities and encourage each child to develop their own interests whilst gently preparing them for the world of formal education. My eldest, shy, child made the move to school happily and confidently and I am sure this has much to do with the time invested him at Playschool. As for me? ''I cannot recommend Hartfield Playschool highly enough.  The caring staff provide a nurturing environment in which the children can develop with confidence and security.  The calm relaxed atmosphere enables all children to find their feet and express themselves through free-play and structured activities.  Each child’s development is charted through an individual Learning Journey which includes photos and thoughtful recording of all aspects of their time at playschool.  When my youngest was ready to move up to reception class he was extremely well prepared and confident to make the transition.  He loved playschool and absolutely adored his key-worker.   As his mum I am very grateful to Hartfield Playschool for giving him such a fantastic pre-school experience and while he may have moved on, I still miss it but his journals are a wonderful record of a very happy time!''- Buff Baughan
